Meet Chiller Fleet Transport – A Refrigerated Transport Company Supporting Cold Chain Transport Across Dubai & Sharjah

Chiller Fleet Transport is a refrigerated transport company based in Ras Al Khor Industrial Area 1, Dubai, operating temperature-controlled fleet services across Dubai, Sharjah, and wider UAE logistics routes since 2013. Our operations are built around the movement of chilled and frozen cargo where temperature consistency, regulated transport handling, and organized fleet coordination are required throughout the delivery cycle.

Across daily commercial transport operations, we manage refrigerated vans, freezer units, and heavy-duty refrigerated trucks assigned according to cargo category, route structure, and transport conditions. Our fleet supports cold chain movement between warehouses, retail distribution points, industrial zones, airport cargo facilities, and regional supply routes across the Emirates.

Rather than functioning as a standard vehicle rental business, our operational focus is centered on refrigerated fleet management, dispatch coordination, and maintaining stable transport conditions under UAE climate and logistics environments. From vehicle preparation and route allocation to monitored refrigerated movement during transit, each stage of operation is structured around maintaining controlled cargo conditions across different scales of commercial distribution.

The Story Behind Chiller Fleet Transport

Chiller Fleet Transport began its operations in Dubai in early 2013, founded by Hasnain Afridi with prior experience in refrigerated transport. After working with other logistics companies, he identified recurring issues in temperature control, handling delays, and cargo spoilage, which often affected sensitive deliveries across the UAE. The goal from the beginning was to build a more controlled and reliable refrigerated transport operation.

Our company started with a small fleet of around 10 vehicles, including chiller vans, freezer vans, and chiller trucks, operating mainly from Ras Al Khor Industrial Area 1 in Dubai. Early clients were local contacts, which gradually expanded into small restaurants, pharmacies, and dairy supply businesses. As operations improved and reliability became more consistent, demand increased because the focus was always on avoiding temperature loss and handling errors during transit.

The biggest early challenge we faced was limited fleet availability and lack of standby units, which gradually improved as the business scaled and demand increased across UAE so over time we expanded out fleet to over 250+ vehicles, including 78 chiller vans, 56 freezer vans, 34 chiller trucks, 31 freezer trucks, 28 high roof vans (For dry cargo) and 25+ refrigerated trucks. As demand grew beyond Dubai, operations expanded into Sharjah in 2017, followed by an additional branch in Abu Dhabi. As of today we operates through multiple branches across Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi, with its main base still in Ras Al Khor and an additional Dubai branch in Al Barsha.

Our Logistics Experience & Fleet Management Approach

Operating in UAE conditions means dealing with extreme summer heat, where high temperatures, frequent door openings, and long loading delays directly affect vehicle cooling performance. During busy urban deliveries, especially in peak hours, compressor load increases and recovery takes longer, particularly when vehicles are exposed to hot docks or traffic idling. In peak seasons like Ramadan and Eid, delivery demand increases significantly, and we shift most operations to night and early morning hours to manage heat and traffic more effectively.

To handle temperature-sensitive cargo properly, our fleet management follows strict operational guidelines:

  • Pre-Cooling Protocols: Every vehicle goes through a mandatory pre-cooling process before loading begins, making sure the required internal temperature is stable from the first minute.
  • Dual-Layer Monitoring: During transit, temperatures are continuously monitored through onboard digital systems and cross-checked by our central dispatch team from our Ras Al Khor headquarters.
  • Route Sequencing: On busy multi-stop routes across Dubai, we plan delivery sequences strategically to reduce door-opening time and limit unnecessary temperature fluctuations during unloading.

Our operations cover major UAE logistics corridors, moving daily assets through Jebel Ali Port, the DXB Airport cargo area, Ras Al Khor, Al Quoz, Sharjah industrial zones, and major Abu Dhabi transport routes. Fleet assignments are planned entirely around cargo categories and route constraints, and we maintain active standby vehicles ready at our main branch to deploy immediately if a client faces unexpected cold-chain issues or vehicle breakdowns.

The Operational Team Behind the Cold Chain

The refrigerated transport operations at Chiller Fleet Transport are supported by a workforce of drivers, dispatch coordinators, operation managers, and in-house mechanics working across Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi. Our company currently operates with more than 200 drivers, many of whom have over five years of experience handling temperature-sensitive cargo across UAE delivery routes.

Drivers manage both transport movement and loading coordination based on client requirements, while cargo temperatures are monitored by drivers, operation managers, and clients through live tracking systems during transit. Dispatch teams work in day and night shifts across all branches to support continuous fleet movement, while standby vehicles and urgent deployments are handled by operation managers. Each branch also maintains its own mechanics for regular fleet servicing and refrigeration system maintenance.

Our Commitment As a Refrigerated Transport Company

Chiller Fleet Transport has operated as a refrigerated transport company since 2013, and our commitment has stayed consistent across that period — the right vehicle, prepared to the correct temperature, dispatched on time, and tracked through to delivery.

We don't overbook our fleet. Each vehicle assignment is confirmed against actual availability before dispatch is approved, so clients across Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi receive what was agreed without last-minute substitutions or delays.
